We visit Manila American Memorial to explore the largest American memorial in Asia Pacific. Then we proceed to Venice Grand Canal Mall, a unique shopping mall inspired by the beautiful Italian city. Breakfast at the hotel then we take off for a busy and fun day exploring Antipolo and eastern Manila. We start in Quezon City with Quezon Memorial Circle, a national park in the shape of an ellipse holding the final resting place of former Philippine President Manuel Quezon. We continue to Marikina, the Shoe Capital of the Philippines, famous for its thriving shoes industry and the delicacy Everlasting (Marikina-style meatloaf). We visit Marikina Shoe Museum which showcases what remains of Imelda Marcos's legendary stash of shoes, and the world’s largest shoes made in Marikina which is big enough to fit 30 normal-sized people. Next we navigate to Antipolo City, a suburb of Manila located on the slopes of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range and a haven for the arts and relaxation. We visit Antipolo Cathedral where the Marian image, which was brought from Mexico in 1626, is believed to be miraculous in granting safe travels, prosperous lives, and healing the sick. Then we proceed to Casa Santa Museum, a wonderland filled with over 3,700 items devoted to everybody’s favorite Christmas character, Santa Claus. Explore the museum while taking unlimited selfies and get to see Santa’s elves create toys for Christmas. Dinner will be served at Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens amidst a mountain resort setting with a commanding view of the majestic Laguna de Bay and Manila skyline. Transfer back to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel then we head to Manila Ocean Park, an integrated urban resort and world-class marine theme park. Expect a fun-filled day as we explore the attractions including the Oceanarium, Trails to Antarctica, Neon Rides, Augmented Reality Encounter, The Birdhouse, World of Creepy Crawlies, Birds of Prey Kingdom, Super Toy Collection, Penguin Talk Show, All Star Bird Show, Sea Lion Show, Jellies Exhibit, The Barnyard, and Ballpit. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. We continue the tour to Rizal Park, a massive plaza named after the greatest Filipino hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, then enter the walled city of Intramuros to visit Fort Santiago and the Dungeon that witnessed the death of hundreds of Filipino and American prisoners of war. Enjoy dinner while being serenaded by the Singing Cooks & Waiters. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight Manila
